Lauren Goss Triathlete

Even though Lauren grew up swimming, she didn’t expect to become a professional endurance athlete until late after high school. After a break from high school swimming, Lauren took up running with a few friends in college, and soon, she tried a triathlon. Her success as an amateur rapidly accumulated, and a fifth-place finish at collegiate triathlon national championships won her the attention of USA Triathlon. This began her start as a professional triathlete.

In her early years as a pro, Lauren raced ITU, but soon switched to non-drafting races. Currently, she competes at the medium-distance level, and has earned multiple first-place finishes at this distance, including wins at Ironman 70.3 St. Croix and 70.3 Silverman.

How SaltStick helps Lauren:

“Before SaltStick, I was drinking so much water and flushing my system of all electrolytes and this was causing me to have a bonking sensation. Since I have started using SaltStick, I have maintained a healthy balance of electrolytes and water and finish my races strong now.”
